HOW TO AVOID RENTAL SCAMS
In addition to the Sunday Honolulu Star-Advertiser, we post our available listings and appointment times on our website, Craigslist and Rently. Other sites may have inaccurate information.
GUIDELINES TO FOLLOW:
1. We will ALWAYS require you to:
a. See the property.
b. Submit your application in person.
c. Do an interview with you at our office or at the property.
d. Sign your Lease Agreement at our office.
e. Make funds payable to: "Oishi's Property Management".
2. We will NEVER ask you to:
a. Wire funds.
b. Submit an application via fax, email, etc.
b. Do an interview over the phone, internet, Zoom, etc.

We do not accept housing vouchers.
The application processing fee is $30(cash) for 1 applicant; $50(cash) for 2 applicants; total of $60 (cash) for 3 or more applicants.

HOW DO I SET AN APPOINTMENT FOR A SCHEDULED SHOWING?
1. Press "More Details". After viewing the pictures and description:
a. If you would like to make an appointment for that day and time slot, email us at appt.hi@oishis.net.
b. In the subject line type the "Code" in the listing. It has exactly 6 alpha/digits.
c. Once you have sent your email your appointment is set for that day and time.
d. Our agent will meet you at the property at the show date and time.
2. The day and time slots in the "More Details" are the only ones available for that week.

"1st Showing" means this property is being shown for the first time. These properties usually rent to prospects from the "1st Showing."
"Showing" means this property has been shown before and is still available at the time of the listing. These listing are kept posted until there is a signed rental agreement which may happen just prior to the "showing" date and appointment.

3. Our visitor parking stalls are #116 and #117 in the mauka parking lot; the first 2 stalls on the right.
4. Because of COVID-19 this process will take place in front of the main entry door where there is a bench and podium.
A. 1st Show - Decision will be make by 2pm the next business day; providing verification can be made.
B. Carry Over Show - Decision will be made while you are present unless additional verification and information is needed.
If selected you receive instructions in writing for your appointment at our office.

d. Previous evictions.

WHAT IS THE LEASE SIGNING PROCESS?
Be sure you follow the appointment instructions and bring items that have been checked off. The signing process takes 45 minutes or longer depending on your questions. You will:
1. View videos on maintaining the property and the condition of the property.
2. Review and sign documents including the Rental Agreement, Addendum, Condition Form, etc.
